Kane Project Roadmap

Kane Project is an animation that I'm hoping to make as time goes on. I regret that I have not made much headway into the Storyboard of the first part despite saying I would be working on it. I would like to apologize to those who I have spoken to in the past and bruised their ears with all of this non-stop talking about it. (Sorry friends) ... But I would really love to show everyone what I have thought about for quite some time. So I haven't given up on this.

Since I haven't focused on one part of this but rather thought of this in pieces I have gotten different parts completed.

As of now, I have only thought of 3 parts in mind, but I will continue to write these scripts until I find a proper end for the main story. Either these parts will be combined into a series of animations or a short film.

Working on the Part 1 story board

I am currently working on the story board for Kane Project Part 1. Currently it is several broken bits and pieces of the story featuring characters moving without audio. I will have to practice capturing audio, speaking clearly and with proper diction so that I can practice lip flaps and jaw movements.

I will add other environment pieces as well since I want to show the alien world of Kane Project and how characters with wings affects the architecture around them.

You can find the script for Part 1 below in the Roadmap Detail Chart.

Updated the storyboard animation to have an extended sequence, wings, and a weapon! ... I should probably find out how to combine these two videos...

More movement storyboarding & Practice

Showing key frames when stepping

Chronos movement

Looks like I'll need to see how to move a cel in Clip Studio Paint. I found out you can edit camera movement and see backgrounds, which has led me to thinking of some cool sequences... Now if I could animate them...

Ending the party - Combining different animation segments

Uh.... enjoy the choppy storyboard? ... I really need to focus on my animation if I want to get it done right. I need to work on timing as well. Regardless, this is partially how the ending the party scene will go in the first part. I've learned how to combine various animation segments and images. This is going to be helpful when editing the final video.

This video was made when I was first starting out with Clip Studio Paint. I haven't messed around with making a storyboard since, but I have been practicing sketching somewhat. I made this before I started writing the first two parts of the Kane Project script, but as you may guess the key scenes featured in this video were somewhat set in stone.

I am practicing drawing still, and I am researching some of the best methods to make a storyboard on Clip Studio Paint.
